OrangeX Convert: Review the Quote Before Confirming

Inside OrangeX

OrangeX Convert provides a quoted conversion workflow rather than requiring an order-book order. The important decision is the actual amount you give and receive in the current quote. A zero trading-fee label does not make every comparison price identical or remove the need to review the transaction.

This guide was checked against the public Convert page and official FAQ on October 22, 2026. Account-specific assets, quotes, eligibility and limits must be checked after sign-in; no conversion was executed for this guide.

Open the official page and inspect the available assets

Go directly to OrangeX.com Convert. The public page displays From, To, Rate, 24-Hour Limit and Trading Fee fields, together with a Convert History section. In the signed-out view, asset selectors and live account values are not populated. That does not establish which assets are available to a particular account.

The official Convert FAQ describes selecting the wallet type and checking available assets before choosing the asset to sell and the asset to receive. Confirm the actual wallet and spendable balance in the live interface. Do not infer that a visible total balance is entirely available for conversion.

Read quantities before reading the headline rate

Enter an amount only after checking both asset identities. Review the amount leaving the source wallet, the amount to be received and the rate's direction. Reversing a pair changes how the number is read.

For a hypothetical comparison, giving 100 units and receiving 98 units implies 0.98 received units per source unit. Reversing the rate is approximately 1.0204 source units per received unit. These invented numbers are not an OrangeX quote or a statement that the two assets should be equal in value.

When comparing with spot trading, use matching assets, direction, quantity and time. An order-book last price is a past execution, whereas a conversion preview describes a proposed transaction. Compare expected net received quantities after relevant costs rather than assuming the last price is executable for the entire amount.

Respect quote timing and current limits

The FAQ describes a preview followed by a time-limited quote and refreshing it after expiry. Treat a refreshed quote as a new proposal: reread the received amount rather than confirming from memory. The live interface governs the current countdown and transaction conditions.

Check the displayed minimum, maximum and daily allowance before confirmation. Historical documentation is useful background but should not substitute for the current account-specific values. This guide does not promise that every token, region or account has identical access.

Confirm intentionally and inspect the result

Only confirm a conversion when its current terms match your intended action. Afterwards, check the completed status, wallet balances and record in Convert History. A preview or expired quote is not evidence that a transaction executed.

Keep the record's time, source and destination asset, quantities and status for reconciliation. If the outcome is unclear, inspect the existing record before repeating the action and use official support when needed. Convert simplifies the interaction, but the user still needs to understand the exact exchange being authorised.
