Uniswap announced on October 29 that TJAR lets applications convert collected fees into a chosen token across seven supported chains.
Uniswap announced on October 29 that TJAR lets applications convert collected fees into a chosen token across seven supported chains.
Confirmed details
Applications deposit fee tokens into a Token Jar. A searcher pays a configured amount in the selected token and receives the jar’s contents; payment goes to the chosen destination. Uniswap said Robinhood was already receiving USDC and USDG through the system. The announcement reported more than $15.3 million in conversions in the preceding month.
OrangeX.com Analysis
TJAR is fee-conversion infrastructure, not a promise of a token buyback, a fixed exchange rate or profit. Actual execution depends on jar pricing, liquidity and searcher incentives. Integrators should verify supported deployments and settings rather than assume every asset or chain is eligible.
