Bitcoin Outflows Extend to a Second Session

U.S. Bitcoin exchange-traded funds posted net outflows of $120.2 million on September 9, 2026, while Ether funds took in $34.7 million, according to Farside Investors’ Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF flow tables.

ARKB accounted for $78 million of Bitcoin fund withdrawals. GBTC lost $27.2 million and IBIT shed $19.5 million. MSBT recorded $4.5 million in inflows, partially offsetting those redemptions; the remaining funds reported no net flows.

Bitcoin funds had lost $46.6 million on September 8, taking their combined outflow across the two sessions to $166.8 million.

Ether funds reversed the previous session’s $24.3 million outflow. ETHB drew $22.9 million on September 9, followed by ETHA with $9.7 million and TETH with $2.1 million. The other Ether funds showed no net flows. Across September 8–9, the group gained a net $10.4 million.

Market Analysis

Flows diverged between the two asset groups, with Bitcoin fund redemptions outweighing Ether fund subscriptions by $85.5 million on September 9. Activity was concentrated: three Bitcoin funds recorded net withdrawals, while ETHB supplied about 66% of the Ether group’s inflows.
