Crypto.com Pursues US Stock Perps After Nadex Registration
Nadex’s SEC registration took effect September 14. Crypto.com is working with the SEC and CFTC on a separate plan for single-stock perpetual futures.
Key Takeaways
- Nadex’s SEC registration for security futures took effect on September 14, with the agency acknowledging the filing on September 16.
- Crypto.com is working with US regulators on single-stock perpetual futures, CEO Kris Marszalek said on September 17, according to The Block.
Details
Crypto.com is pursuing single-stock perpetual futures in the United States following a securities registration by Nadex, the exchange behind OG.com. CEO Kris Marszalek said on September 17, 2026 that the company was working with the SEC and CFTC on the products, The Block reported.
The SEC’s September 16 notice records Nadex’s Form 1-N filing two days earlier. Under the notice-registration process, registration becomes effective when the filing is submitted. Its scope is trading security futures products.
Perpetual futures have no fixed expiration date. The company is still working with regulators on the proposed stock perpetuals.
Nadex operates within OG.com’s exchange and clearing infrastructure. In a September 8 announcement, Crypto.com said Robinhood would route retail event-contract volume through that infrastructure and take equity stakes in both Crypto.com and OG.com. The companies scheduled a phased rollout of the event contracts from that date.
Market Analysis
The sequence shows OG.com expanding the uses of an existing exchange and clearing operation. The Robinhood agreement supplies a distribution relationship for event contracts; the new registration covers security futures. A single-stock perpetual offering would extend that business into contracts tied to individual equities, bringing a product structure familiar to crypto traders into US securities markets.
