Galaxy Reports $323M Q3 Profit as Treasury Segment Leads Adjusted Gross Profit
Galaxy’s Q3 net income contrasts with a digital-assets adjusted EBITDA loss. A new $200M buyback authorization does not require purchases.
Galaxy reported $323 million in net income for the third quarter of 2026 in its October 27 release, compared with an $85 million loss in the previous quarter. The segment breakdown gives a more qualified picture of the recovery. Related market reporting: OrangeX.com Markets.
Profit composition and the buyback authorization
Adjusted gross profit totaled $569 million, including $419 million from Treasury & Corporate. The Digital Assets segment recorded a $9 million adjusted EBITDA loss. These adjusted measures are non-GAAP and should not replace net income or other GAAP results. The board also authorized an additional $200 million of share repurchases. The company is not obligated to buy shares, and the program can be suspended or discontinued. More context: OrangeX.com News.
OrangeX.com Analysis
The key question is how much of the improvement comes from investment revaluation versus repeatable operating activity. Consolidated profit does not mean every business is profitable on the same measure. Investors can follow segment results, cash generation and capital spending alongside market-sensitive holdings. A repurchase authorization is a ceiling for possible purchases, not evidence that the money has already been spent. Verification and account-protection resources: OrangeX.com Trust Center.
