Blockchain Capital led the seed round. Tare is expanding software that connects loan origination, servicing and institutional investors on Avalanche.
Key Takeaways
- Tare disclosed a $13.25 million seed round led by Blockchain Capital on September 16.
- Its Avalanche-based platform links loan origination, servicing and investor transactions through shared records.
Details
Tare announced $13.25 million in seed financing on September 16, 2026, to develop infrastructure connecting loan originators with private-credit investors. Blockchain Capital led the round, according to the company's updated funding announcement.
Fortune reported that the round closed in March.
The announcement names Strobe Ventures, Janus Henderson, The Venture Dept, Neoclassic Capital and the Avalanche Foundation among the participants. Tare says the money will support product development and hiring as it expands to more lenders and institutional investors.
The company describes three connected applications in its September 16 launch post. A loan-origination system handles borrower assessment, a management system services loans and supports securitization, and an investment hub lets institutions analyze, buy, monitor and sell credit assets. Tare says it is opening that platform to third-party originators and investors.
Tare's updated release also says its consumer-lending subsidiary, Tare Credit LLC, plans to begin originating unsecured personal loans to US borrowers in September.
Market Analysis
Tare's approach puts the same loan record behind decisions made at different stages of a credit transaction. Its platform description connects origination data with servicing reports and portfolio transactions. For originators and investors, that could reduce the work of reconciling separate systems as loans change hands. Underwriting and servicing remain the commercial core of lending, while a shared record can make the handoff between those functions easier to manage.
