OrangeX Bonus & Advanced Bonus – Expiration Rule Update

Dear OrangeX Users
To improve fairness and transparency, the expiration logic for OrangeX bonus & advanced bonus will be updated.
Effective time
- From Friday, July 3, 10:00 UTC
What changed
- Previously: the expiration dates of all bonuses were refreshed based on the latest issued bonus & advanced bonus expiration time.
- Now: advanced bonus will expire according to the expiration date set when each Bonus & Advanced Bonus is issued, and the expiration time will no longer be refreshed/updated by later bonus & advanced bonus issuance.

When you have an active position, here are concrete examples of the updated expiration rules for Bonus and Advanced Bonus:
When an account has 150 USDT principal + 150 Bonus: 100 Bonus expires in 3 days, 50 Bonus expires in 7 days. After opening 85% position, when 100 Bonus expires：
Use case | Key observation | Explanation |
Balance-first expiration | Available balance is consumed first when eligible bonuses expire. | The system first recovers 43.5 USDT bonus from the available balance. |
Bonus priority within available balance (expired first) | Expiring bonuses from the amount located in the available balance are invalidated first. | Expiring bonuses contained in the available balance are invalidated first. |
Position release → remaining bonuses continue to expire | After closing/releasing the position, the system keeps invalidating the remaining expired bonus amount. | After closing the position, the system continues to invalidate the remaining part of 100 Bonus (e.g., 56.5 remaining). |
No auto-close caused by bonus expiration | Bonus expiration does not trigger a position to be actively closed. | The system will not actively close the position because of bonus expiration. Expiration continues only after you close the position or after fund/position changes release the related reserved amount. |
Order-locked expiration | If an expiring bonus is locked by an open order, it will be invalidated and the order will be canceled. | When the 50 Bonus expires while it is locked by an open order: the system invalidates the bonus and automatically cancels the order. Both the order history and asset order records show “Canceled”. |
Expiration with order allocation | If funds are allocated/locked by an order at expiration time, the system cancels the order first to free the allocation, then invalidates the bonus. | When expiring funds are locked by an order: the system cancels the order first to release the lock, then invalidates the corresponding bonus. |
